The Medevial Altar Art and Renaissance and Baroque paintings and platique dominate the exposition. The majority of the paintings come from the Liptov region . Slovak art from the 19th and 20th centuries and art from the founders Slovak Modern Art are included in the permanent exposition. The second exibit is dedicated to the paintings, plastiques, graphic works and the pictures of contempary artists. The works of painter and graphic artist Peter Michal Bohúň dominate the exposition. A part of the exposion is dedicated also to the illustrations and pictures of Ján Hála, who spent nearly 40 years in Važec, one of the characteristic villages of the Tatra regeion.
